Conifer - which variety

It's a lovely conical shape growing in our front garden, it was here when we moved here it fits in with all the other shrubs/perennials  it's quite a big front garden and it's on a slope with a small stone wall and sloped grass in front. Anyway I know the names of most of our plants/shrubs  as we propagate, save seeds , take loads of cuttings but do you know which conifer this one is please ?. can it be lightly pruned do you think ?

    Possibly one of the Cryptomerias - but there are masses of varieties of them  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    This is a mature one, near here...Picea glauca albertiana conica.

    You got it fellow gardeners, Picea Glauca Conica Thanks. Certainly NOT going to butcher it like the picture , probably not even trim it now. It's just that we were pruning some of our other shrubs as we were ' putting them to bed for the Winter' will leave my Picea and as we do for late December adorn it with some pretty outside lights, just for our four grandchildren. Thanks all from a little bit soggy Wales.
