Bulb supply problems

Ordered some allium and crocus bulbs recently and just had an email from the supplier warning of delivery delays due to floods in Holland, Brexit delays because of plant export/import inspections and limited workforce.

Anyone else suffered similar experience?

    I've only ordered a few bulbs this year and got them recently.
    I expect there will be an impact for some people though. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Yes, I ordered a few hundred crocus bulbs and 10 prepared hyacinths from Gee Tee.
    I had an email from them a few days ago saying they hoped to be able to ship in October.
    Is that too late for prepared hyacinths? I've not grown them before.

    I ordered some tulip bulbs from Crocus yesterday afternoon, there was a good selection in stock and good combination/multiple offers.  I was notified today at 7.15 am that they had been dispatched!  
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

    I ordered in July, got most of my order in September but there were a few things that only arrived last week due to supply issues. It must be costing the retailers just in extra shipping where they have to split an order like mine.

    That's good. No email for me yet, sadly. But as long as they arrive before it's too late to plant out then I don't mind them being late.

    I ordered some iris retic from Parkers (silly to choose Parkers) and they took months to arrive. They cited supply problems, but Parkers is pretty useless. I'm waiting for tulip bulbs from Sarah Raven and P Nyssen. I'm not in a hurry.
