Does anyone recognise this please

  • I don't but it's so distinctive I'm sure someone will! Bumping and watching with curiosity.

Could it be some sort of Broom (Cytisus)?
I used to have a pineapple broom - the leaves are similar, but not as densely packed as the ones on your plant and the leaves were bigger.
It also reminds me a bit of Baptisia, but don't think they grow that tall
Hopefully someone will come up with some more useful ideas :)

I was thinking along the same lines as @Pete.8 … similar to Pineapple Broom but smaller leaves and different growth habit 🤔

My guess at first was that it's a Coronilla from the leaves, but the bigger photo doesn't look like it .
Do you know if it has flowers @Villaverde123

Looked like  C. battandieri to me too, but the wider shot looks different.

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I agree it's some sort of Broom. It might be Genista 'Porlock'.

I thought Cytisus too. Plant Net thinks so.

Google lens suggests French Broom, Genista/Cytisus monspessulana
  • It is my neighbours.  Not seen any flowers yet, thank you all for the suggestions.
