Cotoneaster cornubia

We are thinking of playing this in our garden. It will be about 6-10 ft from surface sewer/ storm drain. Does this tree have large deep roots? Just wondering whether it might damage the drain.  Thank you

    I would doubt it would damage modern pipework, continuous seamless HDPE. So I wouldn't worry if you're on a new build. Cotoneaster isn't noted for having aggressive roots like Willow, Cherry etc and it's not really a big tree.

    The cornubias can get quite sizeable if allowed, but I doubt they'd be a problem. 
    There's a bank of them near our local shopping centre, and they're pretty close to the sheltered housing and flats there.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
