Winter options planning
Moved in in March 21. My rear garden is directly South facing in Kent and very bright and in summer hot. I grew olive trees on patio and they fruited and seemed to do pretty well. The Acer less well as I almost killed it. Full sun it struggled, shade it struggled. The other plants I bought were 3x citrus (lime, lemon, orange) and 1x fig in containers. They were slow to grow but picked up once I re potted.
For Winter do I need to just bring the citrus and acer indoors out of the frosts ? Or Can I get by with the South facing alone ?

Do you know what variety you have, and is it in a pot too?
I don't grow any of the others, but other people on the forum do, so they might be able to help with that. Most people need to bring citrus indoors though.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
