Brussel sprouts problem

I am growing brussel sprouts in pits doing quite well however one on them has got a grey powdery stuff in the top crown. Does anyone know what this is and how to get ride of it. Many thanks

My bet is it'll be aphids ... I would squirt them off with a jet of water from the hose.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
