Had you done that in the first place, I would have advised that as they are such small new plants that you don’t cut them at the moment, let them grow on and prune them next year.

The above image is mine. I own this. I own the copyright. I can post it on www as I own it.
The rules re copyright on other peoples images SHOULD be very strict on forums. Which is why when I post other people pics I do it as a link...eg below...
One forum I was on very nearly got shut down as people were adding images that did not belonging to them.
Pics belong to the people that have taken that pic.
Exactly like a book. The person who writes a book owns the words under copyright laws. Using someone else's words is called plagiarism. If I quote someone else's words I say Quote and use "xxxx" and a link to the person who wrote those words.
Copy/paste is another that usually breach forum rules. On a site we used to be on, you would get a small ban, maybe a few hours up to days up to a ban depending on how much of the article you copied.

Two of my Hypercums for the slandering trolls. At least now stop this. There are others, some that have finished flowering from early spring.
Silver, IT IS NOT A RULE OF THIS FORUM and trolls don't make such rules. Be on notice I will use Google images when it is convenient me to do so. Some on Google post it freely for everybody to use; only some claim copyrights. As a published author I know copyright laws well.
Why are you posting google searches when I have already said I took it from Google like many have done here because it was too cold to go out and snap it in the windy rain?
Two of my tall grown Hypercums flowered beautifully since early spring, but have died since rust hit the garden. One has some green shoots still and I am tending to it, hoping it would come back healthy next spring. I have a large hypercum that has finished flowering, too. The above is the only variant that is still flowering.
I have bought some replacement plants and am growing them in pots away from the disease. My plan is to over-winter them in pots in the garage and plant them out in early spring, hoping the rust or whatever hit the other 2 will not hit them after a winter.
Jac19, as an Ivy League, and Oxbridge student, you will have been exposed to a lot of criticisms and corrections to things you have written or said. Did you have a mentor, and did you learn any coping mechanisms for dealing with these challenges? If you can remember how you were able to accept constructive criticism without taking this as a personal attack, you can use those techniques on this forum, to help stop you from reacting in a way that can seem offensive to others. Similarly, as a published author, ( by that I mean someone who gets paid for their writing, rather than self publishing, where a writer pays to have their work printed ) you will have had an editor, who will have made countless corrections and suggestions for improvement or to increase the saleability of your work. How did you cope with this criticism? I do not know of any editors who would accept being called names, so presumably you did not do this. Can you use your past experience to make the most of this forum without upsetting other posters?
I have been a trained advisor to Shelters for victims of abused women. The right thing to do is CALL OUT the SLANDERER and ABUSER, text book.
This is TROLLING ABUSE and SLANDER without any basis by this Lyn person that has been EXPOSED as such. PROVEN in black and white, in text book fashion.
It is bog standard text book for ABUSER to say, take counselling so that you can quietly TAKE my ABUSE. It is the ABUSER and SLANDERER that has the mental health problem.
To equate having a mistake pointed out on a forum with domestic or sexual abuse is an insult to the folk who have suffered and continue to endure abuse and you really should know better.

Thank you Fairy Girl, Paulustris and Malorena, your replys were helpful. I realise now there was a spelling mistake on the label. I have been able to find information about the plant and chosen the spot in the garden for planting.
