How do I take a cutting from this plant and when is the correct time to do this?.

    cut off the top growth with about 4 inches of stem. 
    Turn it upside down and stick it in a glass of water. 
    Leaves underwater, stem sticking out.  Roots in no time 
    Devon.

    Thats exactly how I used to do it when we were kids, taking a bit off the huge one my nan kept in the bathroom. This year I grew some from seed to put by the pond. The local cat seems to like chewing it.
     You can do it at any time.
