  • I've been enjoying the SR one too Chicky, especially when they have guests on. I think her profile means they can attract some really interesting folk!

I really love this little gem:

    https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/as-the-season-turns/id1545833974

Each month of the year is described by the things to notice, nature notes, folk-law etc.
Delivered with a soothing soft voice, it doubles as a bedtime mindfulness/relaxer too.

I enjoyed listening to that, just played the October one. Thanks for flagging that up AuntyRach.

As a writer, most podcasts I listen to are on literary short fiction.  My favourite is the New Yorker Fiction Podcast hosted by Deborah Triesmann.

I'm afraid I find a lot of fiction too negative to digest these days.  I prefer to live in a bubble when it comes to entertainment. 😀 positive content only,  many gardening programs and if its crime,  no later than Poirot 😁 but its nice to know there good stuff out there.

New series of The Infinite Monkey Cage has started! It’s only available on BBC Sounds currently, then on the usual Podcast site from next week.

The first episode is ‘Bats v Flies’ and the next few are all nature-related too.

I started watching Talking Dirty after @WonkyWombles recommendation and I love it. Up to number 48 now. Can genuinely say I learn something every episode and usually have a laugh to.
