Algae ontop of seedling soil
in Fruit & veg
i bough an smaller grow tent for seedlings and such with a heat mat inside, and the first carolina pepper seedling have popped outoff the soil and algae is covering it, but according to google the algae is not dangerous to plant other then eating nutrients and blocking light.
so if its blocking the light of the seed i have in the second pot, how would i do to remove the algae without desturbing the seed right below the tip of the soil.
i only have this algae issue in the small seedling grow tent, im not sure why but probably because of humidity and heat mat. The seedlings will get a new home once they are ready for repotting

I'm not sure you can easily remove it if there are seeds in it.
Using a very gritty mix is best for seed sowing. Perlite and vermiculite are also very useful, and do the same job, creating a good ,sterile mix for seeds. Seedlings of any kind don't need loads of nutrition either.

Those are just seed leaves in your photo.
