Editing Profile Question

I'm trying to edit my profile to include my location.  When I come to save it, a page comes up saying, "You don't have permission to do that". Why can't I edit my profile?  Seems weird.
Based in Sussex, I garden to encourage as many birds to my garden as possible.

    i think you have to go in via the main site ….click on the main GardenersWorld.com logo top left … and then into your account and profile etc. Don’t forget to Save before leaving and then enter the forum the usual way.

    How strange. I've just tried to do mine and I think it worked (I'll see when I press post!) so it's not a system problem. I go direct to the forum rather than via gw.com, but perhaps trying a different browser might help if Dove's suggestion doesn't work?

    I have the same problem.
    I emailed Daniel several times over the years, but he never replied.

    You can add it into the signature strip instead. I think someone did that not too long ago because they couldn't get it to work the 'proper' way. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Just tried to change my signature strip but got the same no permission  response 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Well, that just worked for me but still can't edit my profile.
