There's a stupid cow grazing out in the field today.

@Lyn, not to mention the ongoing damage to the woodland itself.   :/

The ******* cats were obviously looking in at the forum yesterday too, as I discovered a large slimy pile of sh*te in the bed next to the back door, and a small plant I'd just put in pulled out. Marvellous.  >:)

  • @Fairygirl That's because you haven't made proper toilet facilities in your garden.  Think on.......... you could put a Pay Slot in - £1 a time and start earning like @Hostafan1 :D

You’re right @Fairygirl. Stripping bark off trees is a very bad thing, we need more trees not dead ones.

    That's where I'm  going wrong @philippasmith2 :D
The garden has been remarkably sh*te free for the last few months, but I know where it's come in - my neighbour has a table near the fence at that bit so it just jumps onto that and over the fence. I can't use the scarecrow there. The sooner they have that sonic doofer back in stock - I'm buying five of them!

Indeed @Lyn. The deer are bad enough....

  • Hi @Pink678,

We were getting a lot of damage in the garden. I suspected badgers and set up a wildlife camera. Turned out to be both badgers and a cat.

My neighbour recommended Voss Sonic 2000 Animal Repeller which has a cat a badger setting.
I wasn't convinced but thought it worth a try so bought a couple.

I set one to cat and one to badger and they are working well. I've since bought a third one for the soft fruit area.
No damage now for more than 6 months, when we used to have a problem every 3 or 4 days.

Might be worth a try in your situation

I have a sonic device.  Makes younger people and kids scream and clutch their ears, doesn't deter the cats
Can you please post a link to the sonic device? I would like to buy one.

Last time I looked - no one seemed to have them in stock @Bee witched - I was too slow to order one when they did!
I'll have another try though  ;)

I just found them - already ordered! @Bee witched  :D
They didn't have them earlier in the year, or it might have been that they were only being sold in twos.
    Fingers crossed  :)
