Verbena

Is it possible to move this and does it self seed or come back every year?

In my garden V.bonariensis self-seeds freely and the mother plants also come back - it's everywhere! which is lovely :)

If you need to move it now, you'd need to cut it right back.
Much better to wait until a bit later in autumn or next spring

Depends where you live. It's fine in mild areas, but not in cold wet areas like mine. Doesn't always make it through winter.
You can take cuttings of it though, as a back up. If you decide to move it, and cut it back as @Pete.8 says, you can use those cut off sections for making extra plants.  :)

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Mine don’t make it through the winter but there’s always new seedlings the following year.

They're becoming a weed on the sunny side of my garden. Spent a lot of time today weeding them out
