  • Hahaha @Fire

All joking aside. I’ve just been for a walk by my house. Signs up saying “Red squirrels!” but only saw greys. I wonder how long ago that sign was put up….  Sad. Very sad.

Saw a deer though (we stared at one another for two seconds before it fled) which was nice.

I think Hugh Feathery Weatherspoons was making squirrel wraps with hoi sin sauce, Delish. Bring them on.

I’m pretty certain those breeders in Cornwall ween the baby reds on flapjack, it’s the most natural food for squirrels.

Flapjacks made with butter, golden syrup and chocolate chips, not so much.

This is the place I’ve seen them, close to where my daughter lives.

Much unfamiliar meat tastes like chicken, apparently. Frogs legs do. Snake, I've been told.  Rabbit gamey . I know. Pigeon  gamey Tree rat, I've never tasted.

What if squirrels didn't have bushy tails? What if they had baldy tails like other rats? Would  you encourage them to visit your garden?
I wonder if sparrows didn't have wings would I be happy to see them in my garden?

No chocolate on the ones I feed them.  They have nuts and fruit bits in them.  Nuts, dried fruit, oats, syrup, butter, sometimes a yogurt topping.  Like breakfast bars. Very healthy and well balanced.
  • Syrup and butter …. for wild rodents ??? 🤯
