Identification

hello Gardeners Just dug this out of one of my borders.  For the life of me I can't remember what it is!!!!  Can anyone help?  Thanks in advance

    It looks like the shasta daisies that are taking over my garden.

    Thanks for this.  Hmm, I have a few clumps of these but the leaves on them are narrower and darker and not quite the same as these  . . . .maybe because these are very young leaves?  Anyway, thanks.
  • Just had a good close look and I think you are dead right!  I must be losing the plot but I cannot remember this clump being there before.  I have three others  . . . .

    They do move very stealthily
    I have a big patch under my pergola I was admiring a while ago then I realized I didn't plant them there!
    I left them for the summer, but they're going to have to go
