  I think that’s Cyperus involucratus … aka Umbrella grass … a pond plant sometimes grown as a conservatory/house plant.

  It’s a dreaded weed here,  don’t know how it came to be but it pops out loads of seeds from those heads and will come up everywhere.
  I would advise getting out as much of it as you can or you’ll have it everywhere.
