mushrooms on lawn

tausend’s of them appeared😩 What can i do?

    Nothing to worry about, it's normal at this time of year  :)

  • No need to do anything unless a child or a  pet might intend eating them, then you could brush them off.  It's autumn, the season for fungi, there's lots around, but they disappear in a few days :)

  • Toadstools are the fruiting body ... the mycellium is the main part of the fungus and it's underground all over your garden, breaking down organic matter in the soil into a form that can be accessed by your plants.  We couldn't garden without them.

    Enjoy them as part of nature's rich autumn display  :D

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
