Blueberry not looking so good

Hello all, my blueberry which had another good year for fruit has unfortunately got something wrong with it. Assuming the damp wet summer has had something to do with it as there seems to be a lot of fungus issues about.

The leaves are browning at the edges and falling off. Any ideas if this plant can be saved organically or will it need to be destroyed and replaced?

Thanks in advance.

  • It looks to be struggling with another plant that it's planted with and yet it had a good harvest very strange.
  • Hard to tell from the photo, but it looks very congested with another plant.  I would give the Blueberry as much space as possible at the roots, so it is not competing with other plants.

Ours looked terrible earlier in the year (but cropped OK), and I thought we might lose them.  I mulched them with a bag of ericaceous compost in the Spring, and they seemed to perk up after that.  We only water them with rain water, and we give them a weekly liquid ericaceous feed from Spring to Autumn.  Perhaps these things might help your plants to revive.
