Bearded Iris and Foxglove flowering in September

How weird is that

Just as a proof that the pictures are taken now and not four months ago here is a picture of the same Iris next to a hollyhock that has finished flowering and is covered with “rust”

I was intrigued by this so did a bit of googling and came across Iris of Sissinghurst where it said that some remontant Tall bearded Iris will be reflowering so I'm guessing that's what you have.

Foxgloves are normally in flower here in September.  :)
I never had bearded Irises re flowering, but that's down to length of season. Our first flowering will be later than further south.
    Enjoy the extras though   ;)

I think that foxgloves is cross with Summer King, in which case they bloom later.
