Gifted container plants

Hi everyone

I've been given a Japanese anemone and two Heather's all in plastic pots, I'd like to plant them out.  Is it OK to plant out this time of year?

Thanks

  • Yes - prepare the ground well and pop them in. If it is dry where you are, make sure you water them in well.

Yes - anything in a pot can be planted at virtually any time.
When ground is frozen or waterlogged are the times to avoid, although waterlogged ground is rarely suitable for many plants anyway.   ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
