Lupins
Hubby has just gifted me a dry lupin stem,it's a really gorgeous purple. Have collected the seeds. Do I sow now or save till spring?

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
I sowed them 3rd March 2016 and they started flowering the same year on 6 June, albeit small spikes with some nice colours.
I had about 10 plants.
Over the years all but one has died - slugs and snails - so I have have one pink one left.
I'll sow some more next year

I sow in June, plant out in Autumn, ready to flower the following year, then remove after flowering.

I would sow next Spring now, they may send up a flower stem the same year, I cut those off so as to make a bigger plant.
