Wallflowers

Hi, I got these wallflower mini plugs about two weeks ago and potted them on. Will they be big, strong enough to plant out in time. What's the latest they can be planted?

    When do you want to plant them out? They look a bit small to me for Autumn planting.

    I'd say they're a bit small just now. Depends on your conditions and your climate in the area you live in though.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I live in Surrey. So can I plant them out when the roots have filled the pots, or will it not be warm enough for them to grow on by then?

    It's difficult to say @Fred Mead. I got some at around this time last year but they were much bigger than that and I had them in pots, although ultimately, they didn't do terribly well in them. They certainly survived what was our coldest winter for around five or six years here, but the drainage in the pots was also better than they would have had in the ground. 

    I've just had a look and I actually got them in mid November, so I expect yours should be big enough by then. You'll just have to judge the conditions at that point  :)
