Help with choosing a plant!!

hi there, anyone has any suggestions i very open to them!

i would like to plant something in a east facing front garden in London which is set back about 10 meters from a busy high road.

Its going in a big container 1500x400x400

I would like to tie it to a train it up and along several trellises.

I would like something woody like Wisteria that doesn't have suckers to grab on to the brickwork with.

I would really like something that goes a nice red in the autumn.

any help would be great!

    Clematis. Every time.  :)
Hundreds of varieties will suit. Look at specialist sites online for info and suggestions:
Taylors Clematis, Thorncroft Clematis, Hawthornes, and also Peter Beales [roses] who do very good quality clematis.
Stocks are low in many nurseries though, so you may have to wait.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
