Irises !

I know this is a clump of irises but that’s about it ! I’ve neglected them in that shallow dish for a couple of years since someone dug them up from their garden for me.

Can anyone tell me what sort they are please and how I should care for them.

    Bearded Iris by the look of them, and they just need splitting and potting up separately. You need a section of rhizome with some root. It's often worth cutting the foliage back by about half too. Some slow release food while the foliage dies back is beneficial.
    Nice sunny spot once they get going again. Keep them somewhere sheltered over winter, so that they don't get waterlogged.

    They become less productive and need splitting every few years - discarding the middle sections.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
