Purple tulips suggestion

Hi, I want to buy some tulip bulbs and love the colours of the two plain purple tulips in each of these photos 😊 any ideas what they are? Thank you!

I'm afraid there are so many it would be very difficult to ID them accurately. Photos aren't always accurate in their colour depiction either - especially dark reds and purples.

Have a look at Peter Nyssen's site or any of the other specialists - Avon, Broadleigh, Farmer Gracy etc, and see what you like.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Have a look here   https://www.farmergracy.co.uk/collections/tulip-bulbs-uk

At the left of the page you can click on the colours you're searching for.

I've not bought from them (yet) but Farmer Gracy have a good reputation ... I may well be sending them an order soon if the chap up the road doesn't have what I want.

I bought loads of tulip bulbs from Farmer Gracy last year and they were magnificent. However, like you, I decided I wanted some purple ones and bought Blue Heron and Cummins from Riverside Bulbs.  They had both been mislabelled (Riverside blamed their supplier) and what came up were more of a burgundy. Should have stuck with FG.
