turning turf over

Hi, all im seeking advice, i am planning on digging up half of my lawn and turning the turf upside down ontop of the other half of lawn, contained within a small wall  to create a dual level.then covering the hole area with a subbase for installing artificial grass. wondering if this would work ok,my main concern is any future problems from the burried turf

It shouldn't be a problem. You could kill off the turf first if you're worried, but once it's buried, and has a load of hardcore on it, it's unlikely to re sprout.
