Gladiolus Byzantinus - where to buy from?

I'm looking for the 'proper' Gladiolus Byzantinus bulbs - the sort you see naturalising (IE proper deep magenta, not the wishy-washy paler pink).

I had some from J Parkers on recommendation last year but I've not been impressed with the colour. I know someone on this forum recommended Great Dixter online store for the real McCoy, but they're out of stock (maybe they'll come into stock further into Autumn).

Any recommendations for reliable online supplies would be much appreciated!

I've just bought some from Farmer Gracy. I'm not sure Nyssens had them when I looked, and I always go to them first.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Nyssens do have them. :)
I was looking for something else, which they didn't have, so I think I didn't check to see if they had those.

  • Thank you both  I'll give Nyssens a try I think!
