    Ok LOL. Thanks for all your help. It's on its third year.

    I've never deadheaded any of mine!  I never thought to do it as they always flower for months left untouched.  I just leave them alone and trim them back in Spring. 

    I may test it out next year.

    It'll need dividing soon @Fred Mead, or you can taking cuttings. Heel cuttings are the best method.
    Most perennials need a bit of rejuvenating every so often.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
