Sunflowers
Hi. We planted some perennial, multiple bloom sunflowers in our back garden here in Florida. We had perfect sunflower weather this summer and a couple of our plants are well over ten feet high. We've tried staking them but can't find wooden stakes taller than 6 feet. If we cut the stems back to five feet or so, which would allow us to keep them upright via stakes, will the plant continue to produce blooms beyond the cut? Thanks.
