Hedge suggestions

Hello there! We have a prunus royal burgundy in our garden that was planted by previous occupant. It is against one fence and the adjoining fence we would like to grow an evergreen hedge to cover the fence and encourage birds. Does anyone have any suggestions for such a hedge that is reasonably fast growing? Many thanks in advance for any tips!

Take a look at the various specialist sites Hopes Grove and Hedges Direct are just two.
Bear in mind that anything fast growing will keep growing - fast.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
