Help on Watering Globes

Hi, 

I am going away for 1 week and i dont want my chilli plants to wilt. I have read that a watering globe is a good short term solution, however, there seems to be lots of mixed reviews for the ones on Amazon as to whether they actually work.

Does anyone have a view on whether they work? Can you recommend any?

    One week will be fine, just give them a good watering before you go. I had to go out of the country for work for 3 weeks last year, during the heatwave, and just put mine in the bathroom. 

    If you’re really concerned drill a 3-4mm hole in the lid of a plastic drinks bottle, fill with water, and push into the soil.
