I strongly suspect another new weed but can anybody ID this for me please.

    I get lots of something similar looking which I believe is Fat Hen.
    If it is, you don't want to keep it or let it flower and seed

    Looks a lot like Fat Hen to me too ... I'm more used to seeing the seedlings which are removed asap ... another weed I learned to recognise by hoeing sugar beet fields as a child.

    It's eaten in some parts of the world as a vegetable ... and the seeds used to be used to feed poultry.

    Yes, you have a very well-fed Fat Hen there.  Eat it or remove it before it sets seed!
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
