Squirrels are attacking my sunflowers

    Don't just say "squirrel".  You are rubbishing a whole genus of innocents.

    Greys are the b*ggers.

    I think most people understand that the reference is to greys.... :|

    They aren't too troublesome here - plenty of food for them in all the adjacent woodland etc. They can't get into my bird cages though, much to their annoyance.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • I haven’t seen red ones. The grey ones are massively fat. One even knocked a wooden finial off the fence post when he has chased away. Another bit at one of my squashes which was growing nicely so I’ve had to cover them with some netting - the squashes, not the squirrels
