    It’s phacelia, bees love it and it makes great honey  :)

    You can also grow it as a green manure.

    Failure is always an option.

  • I grow this seed mix just for the flowers not as a manure  :)

    This was the first year, after the phacelia has finished flowering I thin it out in places and the borage grows. Now there is big patches of red clover as well  :)

    @Silver surfer thank you! And what stunning photos 😊 it really is beautiful 😍 I saw it around the edge of a farmers field with sunflowers mixed in, looked incredible!

    @SherwoodArrow thank you so much. Yours looks beautiful 😍 and thanks for sending the link to where you get some from, I’d love to plant a bit so that’s really helpful. Having looked up borage and red clover, that was also round the farmers field on the opposite side. Do you plant some each year or does it keep coming back? Will they stay put or spread rapidly as was thinking of putting some on border 😊 thank you!

    They’ll selfseed. 🐝

    @Dovefromabove thanks 😊
  • They self seed but find they stay in the same bed I first put them in and don’t really spread to the surrounding area  :)
