Hi all, I've got a few mysterious plants turning up in my front garden. Could you please help identify and advise what I should do with them? Thanks!
Two of these. My app says it's "Western redbud". Is it correct?

Apps may be good at times but they can also be complete rubbish!
Agree with amancalledgeorge ..does look horribly like Japanese knotweed.

We cannot see a single tip to know what they looks like
First thing this morning I went to take some more close-up photos of the little monster:
And no none of this neighbourhood has ever reported any Japanese Knotweed...
Then I googled some Western Redbud leaves and they do look very similar:

As I wonder where exactly it comes from, I looked up at the tree right next to my front garden on the driveway and I think I found its mother:
Anyway, I don't want anything that may look like Japanese Knotweed growing in my garden, and one Western Redbud tree on the driveway in front of my house is enough to enjoy. So I'll be pulling up the little monsters, drying them, and then burned...

Cercis is not very common and the chances of a seedlng just appearing is as rare as hens teeth...that is unless you have the mother tree near by...it even has new seed pods on it
