Potted chilli plants

Hi everyone. Newbie here!!

So, before moving into my little flat, I lived in a huge house before luckily having a massive garden too where I was able to have a big veg patch at the bottom. I done quick well back then. Growing loads of carrots, potatoes, beans, tomatoes, onions etc.

So as mentioned, now in a tiny flat where unable to do that. I have been given some small (baby) reaper chilli plants 2 days ago. In pots. I have never grown these before and although seems strange, pots are all new to me. Is it the same sort of process? I'm aware the time of year probably isn't the greatest.
My worry at the second is, when given to me a few days ago, they were a slightly light green/yellow colour. I've fed them (organic plant food) and watered them (they have drainage but haven't put that much water in as afraid of drowning or overwatering them). How much should I be watering them and how often? How long do the plants generally last when healthy and fully alive? is there anything i can do.to help them survive the winter? (They'll be indoors all the time, during day on windowsill for light and away from cold window at night)

Sorry for sounding silly!!! Thanks for the help!!

We grew Reapers a couple of years ago ............ waaaaaaay too hot for us!  I hope you're prepared for them ... we gave our crop to my son's chilli-head friends and even they found them 'surprisingly fierce'.  Don't say I didn't warn you ...  B)

    Enjoy.

  • Thank you so much. I'll check that out shortly
As for the heat of the chilli, I'm used to it now haha. I practically live off dried reapers haha. No good for the belly though!
    Hope your well
