Dividing Verbena Rigida Santos Purple

Hi there!

I planted a Verbena Rigida earlier in summer and it has grown very well.

My question is - Does anyone have any experience of dividing such a plant?

Thank you

I think cuttings would be more suited to them  :)

They usually travel by means of roots just under the soil surface and the growth pops up along the way.
I think root cuttings would work well.
I have V Rigida, but not tried cuttings and not sure what time of year would be best - spring/summer I'd guess

Mine spread about pretty vigorously and did well from chunks dug up and transplanted.
