Planted and forgotten, can you help?

JoeXJoeX Posts: 1,783
Hi all,

Ive been very light on the gardening this year and I’ve forgotten what a few things are:

Now they’re all bedraggled do I deadhead, compost or can I move to the corners of the garden until next year?

Ive got a dozen or so on the wall and pots that I will be replacing with rudbeckia that last through the autum

    Looks like leucanthemum.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

Deadhead, and then move if you wish. Most are hardy   :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Brilliant am doing so as we speak/type

And are these random self seeded grasses or something else?  Ive not seen such seed pods like these, which I assume they are.

    some are very large

    And some quite small

Got any bird feeders in the vicinity?

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
