Mouldy tomatoes

Any clues as to what’s happening with the tomatoes? Are they still edible?

Some of my toms had that a few years ago. I think we ate the lesser-affected ones, after skinning them. Might not have been a good idea though. See this link.  https://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/gardens-gardening/your-garden/help-for-the-home-gardener/advice-tips-resources/visual-guides/tomato-fruit-problems.aspx Might it be bacterial canker? Sounds terrible !
Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.

That may or may not be tomato blight

They are not mouldy or rotten at least. It's not blight, that makes them go soft and totally useless as well as discoloured. I think it looks a bit like Bacterial speck but whatever it is it won't do you any harm,

I've had the same on a few of my tomatoes now and then over the years.
When mine have had it it's just the top half of the fruit that seems to be affected and it's usually fruits that are closer to the ground.
I've no idea what the cause is, but the specks don't penetrate the skins.
I'd guess they're fine to eat, but I'd remove the skins and use them in a sauce or freeze.

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
