Not sure what is wrong with my dahlia. Not flowering and damaged hard leaves in places

    Can you add a picture of the whole plant so we get an idea of how big it is?

    Snails? I found one right on the top of one of mine, having crawled up and ignored the older foliage to snack on the tasty new flower shoots.
