Thyme diseased?

Hi everyone. Can someone please advise me whether my thyme is diseased at all? It was lovely and green early this year but since this time he leaves have yellowed somewhat with a patchy pattern. It's 2 years old and has been in this pot for the whole time.

    It needs trimmed back. You'd normally do that after it flowers. It may not recover terribly well if it gets done now though. It'll be very woody lower down. 
    They're good in pots, but can be short lived in them too.
    Despite them liking sun and drier conditions, it's not the same in a pot - they need watered. They don't have access to other soil for any moisture, and rainwater doesn't always penetrate well enough, especially if you live in a drier area.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Thanks, some great advice. I'll give it a haircut later and see if it survives! 😉
