Only you will know that at the moment I'm afraid. Without further info on your hedge, the ground, how big the questionable bush is, whether it has twined right thru and along your hedge, etc., it's anyone's guess really. A bit more info and a pic of the bush in situ will enable people to advise with more accuracy
It is Euonymus. If in a hedge then probably Euonymus europaeus...common name spindle. The flowers are tiny and easily missed. Check for seed capsules. The autumn colour should be fab.
