It’s lovely and fragrant and probably getting leaned on by the shrubby rose behind it. How do I take care of it and is it annual or perennial? Thanks

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.

However, I think you are getting very confused.
You are talking about Spathiphyllum or Peace lily.see 1st pic below
It is indeed as you describe and in UK is a common houseplant.
it is very different from the mystery flower asked about on 9th August by Ilikeplants at the start of this thread....which is Phlox paniculata. see 2nd pic below
