Advice on astrantia

Hi everyone,

With regards to Astrantia, when the flowers have finished do you cut the whole plant back or just cut off the flowers?

    I always cut back the flowers to the bottom of their stem and they then reflower. This can be done a few times depending on when they start and of course the weather.

    I do as the others describe.  :)
    No new flush on mine yet though. Might get a couple if I'm lucky.  Location/climate etc are factors. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
