Privet leaf spot?

Hi everyone,
Hope everyone is well. I am after some help please i have recently moved into a house with a garden and know little about gardening and I have ordered some privet hedging for my front but they have these spots all over them. Is this leaf spot and is it contagious to other plants and/or will it kill these hedges or are they safe to plant.
