Courgette help

This are my yellow courgette which i have lost label. Are they ready to harvest. This is my first time growing so not sure what to do

    I’d pick that now. Yiu can harvest them
    when they’re a bit smaller too if you like. 😊

  • Don't know your particular variety but that would appear to be ripe if the colour is correct on your photo.
    If so, then best removed and used in order that the plant can get on and produce more. If unsure whether fully ripe, you could remove and bring indoors for a couple of days.

    It looks like a patty pan squash, which are also used just like courgettes.  I harvest them at about 4 inches diameter - the skins can get a bit tough if left to grow larger than that.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    thank you @BobTheGardener i was wandering what type it was. @philippasmith2 yes the colour is what it is no filters. will try them and give feed back
