    You need to be able to cut into green/ grey shoots to trim it. If you  cut down to the wood, it rarely regrows.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    I've just been out to cut the grass and had a quick look at the silver leaves. A bit hard to see but doesn't appear be any green underneath

    Cut your losses and buy a new one I would
