I have an open-bottomed dalek and have seen a rat/rats in the vicinity (earlier this year). NDN laid poison, some was taken and I haven't sighted any since.

In terms of what I regard as undesirable in my garden (and leaving aside the health risk), my strawberries and broad beans have been munched by something and the culprit tops the list :-

    1. Food muncher - identity currently unknown.
    2. Cats - to put it bluntly, too much sh!t, p!ss and puke :(
    3. Cyril and Brians.
    4. Shauns (thankfully they're only occasional visitors to the front garden but they wreak devastation when they do)
    5. OH - an uncanny ability to trample plants without even realising ;)

@Biglad, I think I’ve seen you mention Cyril as slugs. What are Brian’s and Shauns?! And do cats not have names?!

Sorry @Skylarks. Brians = snails, Shauns = sheep. I wouldn't want to put the names I call cats on this forum!
