Is it indoors? It won't like that at all.
They're hardy outdoor plants ,not indoor ones.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I grew it on the terrace, but it dried up because it was too hot in the country where I live. Now I have it indoors
  • Cut it back on each branch which is obviously dead.  Check the trunk below your "dead" mark - just a finger nail scrape will be enough to see whether it is still green and alive - of so, it still has a chance.
However, as said above they aren't House Plants and really need to be outside - in a container until it picks up and then into the ground.

It's probably completely dehydrated then. It would have needed watering - probably every day if it's hot. Even here it would have needed that  :)
If you do as @philippasmith2 describes, and there's still some green growth, submerge it in another container of water - a basin or similar - and wait until no bubbles appear. That means it's soaked up enough water to thoroughly dampen it. Once they dry out, it can very difficult to get them properly dampened again, and that's often the easiest way.
You can also keep a large saucer or tray of some kind under the pot, so that when you water, if some is left in that, the plant can soak that up too. That's useful if you get long dry spells, because it can be difficult to keep plants of any kind well hydrated.

However, it's vital for any potted plant to be watered regularly - it's very different from them being in the ground  :)

It depends which one it is so check before planting it in the ground as some of them are not hardy. So if its not just keep it in a pot but you will eventually need a very large pot and put it out in the summer but make sure it is watered.
  • Eucalyptus are very forgiving - even to the extent you've subjected it. Water it heavily on a daily basis till you see signs of recovery. Keep it outside.
