Lovey photo though. I haven't done that B. More yet. I think the weather's to be a bit better by Wednesday, so hopefully you'll get some more photos and get back into it again
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
When I drove past 'the other Ben More' last Saturday it was looking beautiful but of course, I was in a hurry to get to the ferry in Oban. I shall keep the camera handy when I drive back the other way this Saturday.
Unfortunately, it's quite difficult to get a good view of it, regardless of which direction you're coming from. There aren't too many places to stop coming from the north side without blocking gates etc. The best views of it are from the summits of the other Crianlarich hills. Hope you manage to get something though.
Stob Binnein is a much nicer hill too

Some pictures from the Lake District, the first is from Wansfell looking over to the Langdales. The second is Helm Crag and the last is from the track up to Coniston Old Man.
Lovely jubbly @scroggin. I love a moody sky Have you had some walks recently? I haven't been out for a while. Too hot, then I managed to injure my foot/toe. Hopeless old mare.

@Fairygirl, just got back from the Lakes. Lucky with the weather, managed to got on the fells most days. Hope you're soon on the mend and back in the mountains.
I did that Corbett at Kinlochleven-Mam na Gualainn- a while ago. I think we talked about it at some point, or maybe I've imagined that. Quite possible! I should dig out the pix of that at some point. Long day, but the worst bit was coming back along the W. Highland Way. Some resurfacing had been done on it, and I took all the skin off the bottom of my left heel.

Does anyone know anything about Bakelite jewellery? I found these two together by the river yesterday, the farmer figure is made of lead and is from about 1940, and the ring seems to be something like Bakelite. It fits my wife's finger very well but could just be some kind of washer. I'm picturing it as some kind of art-deco stacking ring though.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
